Meet Our Urologists!

Dr. Jonathan Rhee, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Rhee obtained his Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree from the University of Western Ontario, where he also attended Medical School at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. He completed his residency in Urology at Queen’s University. Dr. Rhee joined the team at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare in 2016 and has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Sciences Division at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University.

He practices general adult and pediatric urology, with a comprehensive practice covering voiding issues, cancer (prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular), kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and men’s health. His practice is tailored to serve the unique needs of a rural community.

Dr. Rhee holds privileges at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and Huntsville District Memorial Hospital) and is regionally affiliated with Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Bruce MacDonald, MD, FRCSC

Dr. MacDonald attended the Memorial University of Newfoundland Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency training in Urology at Queen’s University. He joins Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare in July 2025 with his urologic clinic located at Muskoka Urology.

How to make an appointment with our Urologists

For urological services covered by OHIP, you must have a referral made by a physician practicing in Ontario. We’re unable to accept patients on a walk-in basis.

If you are an existing patient, please call the office to schedule an appointment.

Note: If it has been over two years since your last appointment with the Urologist, a new referral will be required before an appointment can be scheduled.

Come try our Emsella Chair during your complimentary 30-minute consultation.
